Meet Norris’
New Team Members
Gabe Haase – Apprentice Lineman – Hebron
  Gabe Haase – Apprentice Lineman – Hebron
Gabe Haase began his employment with the District on May 16, 2022. He is an Apprentice Lineman working at the District’s Operations Center in Hebron.
Gabe is originally from Hebron. He graduated with a degree in Utility Line from Northeast Community College, in Norfolk, in May 2022. Gabe completed his internship with the District in the summer of 2021.
In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, camping and hunting.
“I had an enjoyable time completing my internship, while working with District employees in Hebron last summer. I’m happy to be back working with Norris’ team of dedicated employees and I look forward to completing my apprenticeship and furthering my career in the utility industry.”

 John “J.W.” Schell – Right-of-Way Operator - Beatrice
John "J.W." Schell completed his lineman internship with the Dis- trict, in the summer of 2021. He was hired as a Right-of-Way Oper- ator in Beatrice on June 13, 2022.
J.W. is from Wymore. He gradu- ated from Metropolitan College, in Omaha, with a degree in Utili- ty Line in August 2021. Following graduation, he worked for Watts Electric Company, an electric con- tractor working in Nebraska and surrounding states.
In his spare time, he enjoys team roping, hunting and fishing.
“I gained a lot of utility line experience working for Watts Electric Company. However, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to return to work at Norris. Norris has an incredible and cohesive team and I look forward to contributing my time and skills to serve the customers of the District.”
