This milestone translates to more than 167,738 working hours. Congratulations to our incredible team.
Norris hit a major milestone on August 29, 2018 by marking 365 days since its last lost-time accident. A lost-time accident is an accident that causes an employee to take time off from work. This milestone was last achieved by the District in 2015.
The electric industry has many risks that make it a potentially hazardous occupation. Norris employees deal with electricity, operate large equipment and make
repairs in hazardous weather conditions. They travel thousands of miles, day and night, across Norris’ six-county service territory.
