That special Sunday in June, June 19, 2022, will be here before you know it, and it's likely that you are scrambling to create a grand Father's Day celebration. This year, besides the obvious Father's Day gift and card, step it up and surprise Dad with something he really wants, the gift of time spent with his family. Here is a list of activities that are perfect for all kinds of dads:

Rent his dream car ** Tackle a task together** Host an outdoor movie night** Go for a bike ride** Have a backyard picnic ** Make breakfast together** Enjoy a family game night** Plan a float trip** Treat Dad to a cookout ** Plan a camping trip** Take him online shopping** Go fishing** Play baseball ** Go hiking together.

Please do not report outages using social media or email because information submitted may be missed or not seen for a length of time.

Automatically Reported Outages

Chances are when your power goes out, Norris already knows.

Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters notify the District if a power outage occurs, aiding to quickly pinpoint problems. Now, many customers are finding Norris' linemen and service vehicles onsite to restore power before they even call to report an outage. Norris still encourages customers to report their outages.

Use SmartHub to report outages quickly with the touch of a button. SmartHub's outage reporting system is integrated with the District's outage management system. SmartHub receives and coordinates outages to enhance getting linemen headed in the right direction to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.

Large outages may overload our phone system and calls may be slow to get answered. Outages submitted through SmartHub will not have this issue.
