When it comes to power lines and equipment, it is not always obvious if it is the customer’s property or Norris Public Power District’s property. The illustrations depict some of the most common scenarios within our District’s service territory.
Nebraska811 only locates public utilities and not customer-owned private lines. Customers are responsible for locating their private underground utilities before starting a project.

request with Nebraska811, damage to underground utility lines can be prevented as well as costs for repairs, loss of use and injury. Locate requests are placed by calling 811 or 800-331-5666.
